Dear boys and girls,
Summer is fun but I miss you all! Have you been enjoying your time away from school? Every morning Mr. Prowse and I take our dogs Cruzer and Lucy to the dog park. They LOVE to run around and play with other dogs. Every afternoon I have been taking a nap. That's nice when we have time to rest!
I spent a few days at school cleaning out the classroom and putting things away. Wow, it sure looks different with all the furniture moved out! Mr. Robb moves all the furniture out of the classrooms so that the carpets can be cleaned.
It's time for me to go make dinner now. We are having spaghetti, one of my favorites! Do you like spaghetti? Have a good week!

Hi this is Serena. Yes, I have been enjoying my summer. Today I went to swimming lessons. Yes, I do like spaghetti. How are you doing today? I only have three pages (front and back) of my summer homework packet left to do.

Hi Serena! It sounds like you have been busy! I remember taking swimming lessons when I was little. My mom used to call me a little fish. Wow! You are a hard worker to have that huge packet of homework almost done! But I already knew that you work hard. Keep on having fun! Love, Mrs. Prowse
