Dear boys and girls,
Have you ever been to Arizona? That is where I was this last week. Mr. Prowse and I were visiting my mom. Her house is very close to Mexico. We took Cruzer and Lucy with us. My mom has a one year old black lab named Sheba. Cruzer and Sheba loved each other right away. They played and played! Sheba especially loved to chew on Cruzer's ears. His ears seemed to be wet the whole time we were there! Lucy did not like Sheba very much. She barked and growled at Sheba a lot. My mom made all of my favorite foods for us to eat. She especially makes really good tacos, potato salad, and mashed potatoes. What is your favorite food that your mom makes? Summer is going by very quickly! Kids in Arizona start school in two weeks!

The Beach
Dear kids,
I had a really fun week this week! I went to the beach with some of my girlfriends. We played lots of games. I love to play games. How about you? We stayed at a beach house for three nights. I laughed so much with my friends that it made my tummy muscles hurt a little bit! It is so fun to have fun! Now, those words sound like an author we all know about! Can you guess who? Dr. Seuss! I hope you all are well. Did you see all the school supplies being set up in stores? That makes me excited!

At the Dog Park
Dear boys and girls,
Hello there ducklings! Have you been enjoying the cooler weather? I have! Cruzer and Lucy are a lot more playful at the dog park when it is not as hot. We go to the dog park almost everyday. Yesterday, both of my dogs seemed to have a lot of energy. It was very funny to watch Cruzer. There were two big black birds on the ground in the middle of the big field. Do you remember what the big black birds are called? We sang a song about them last fall. Cruzer ran after the birds. I think he believes that he can catch one. The birds flew away before Cruzer could reach them. Then they would come back to where they were. This happened many times. It made me wonder if the birds were playing with Cruzer! Have fun this week and play safely!

I can't believe it's still so hot!
Dear Girls and Boys,
How do you like the hot weather? I don't enjoy being hot very much. I usually go to visit my dad in the summer. Where he lives, it gets very hot. This summer he has been having much cooler weather where he lives than here in Oregon. I almost wish I were there right now!
This week, Mr. Prowse and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary. We have been married for 20 years! We love to go to the beach and so we took a trip to Lincoln City. We wore shorts and t-shirts and we had to go shopping for sweatshirts because it was so cold there! We took Cruzer and Lucy. They ran around and around in circles, chasing each other on the beach. Every now and again, they would stop and dig a hole. They might love the beach more than we do!
